Construction and Application

The illustrated construction uses an aluminum-alloy body and an imported foam contact layer. Imported refers to the foam material, not an imported finished gripper. Confirm the foam grade and service requirements for your handling conditions.

The illustrated built-in-vacuum design includes a logic valve and check-valve arrangement. For external-vacuum models, confirm the valve arrangement, vacuum equipment and connections for your selected code.

Application examples include wood, packaging, metal sheets, glass, plastic and carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic workpieces. These are selection examples, not a guarantee for every surface. In particular, porous materials, gaps and uneven contact require application-specific review.

The 415 and 500 longitudinal spans do not include the left end module in their respective drawings. Their height of 119 includes the silencer. For the 80*160 drawing, body height 39.00 and foam thickness 20.00 appear separately; neither should be confused with a verified overall installation height.

Is a pressure gauge included with every gripper?

The PNP/NPN pressure gauge is a separate accessory option. Confirm the scope of supply rather than assuming that it accompanies each gripper.

Does H15 confirm a 15 mm foam pad?

Do not infer it from the suffix alone. The 80*160 drawing separately labels foam thickness as 20.00, but units and the other models’ suffix definitions still require confirmation.

What is the rated payload?

Payload must be assessed for the selected model and installation. Review the complete vacuum system, workpiece and handling motion before establishing a suitable operating load.
